I have a background in Biochemistry which gives me the ability to really understand the science behind metabolism and various mechanisms in the body. My passion for nutrition and health led me to complete an Msc in Nutrition and Diploma in Dietetics at Kings College London and go onto become a Registered Dietitian. I currently balance my work at J Nutrition with ongoing work in a large NHS trust in Camden, as a lead specialist dietitian in diabetes. I have specialist interest in this area and am the NW/NE London regional representative for the Diabetes Management and Education Group (DMEG). I am also a media spokesperson for the British Dietetic Association (BDA).
I am dedicated to continuously improving my knowledge and skills to ensure that my advice is based on the latest scientific evidence, I am currently training towards a Diploma in Sports Nutrition.
Session description:
First session: This usually takes an hour and includes assessing your case history including medical history, social history, typical food choices, eating patterns and lifestyle. Where appropriate, a detailed anthropometric assessment will be taken including height, weight and waist measurements. This is followed by tailored dietary advice, realistic short and long term goal setting and self-monitoring strategies.
Follow up appointments: These are usually scheduled for 30-45mins and can be tailored to your individual needs. The course of follow-up appointments will take shape following you first appointment. However, I also offer Nutrition packages.

When the weather is bad or you prefer a little more privacy, I also offer personal training in a superbly equipped fitness studio in West Molesey, Surrey, just 2 minutes drive from Hampton Court. Equipped with treadmill, rowing machine and cycle as well as free weights, medicine balls, Boxing, TRX and core stability equipment, the studio offers a great alternative space to train. Session description:
Step 1 – On booking an appointment you will be sent a questionnaire and a 3-day food diary to complete and bring along to your first consultation. Client confidentiality is strictly maintained.
Step 2 – During the initial consultation further information will be taken and your current diet, lifestyle and symptoms will be assessed alongside your previous medical and family history. A full explanation will be given on any findings and their manifestations plus information on any biochemical imbalances (including vitamin and mineral deficiencies) which may be contributing to your current health concerns. Laboratory tests may be advised for more advanced exploration of underlying causes. Together, and in consideration of your own health goals, an initial action plan will be agreed. Supplements may also be recommended. Telephone and email support is included.
Step 3 & ongoing – Follow-up consultations are scheduled for usually 4 weeks following the initial consultation to assess progress and provide further advice and information as necessary. How frequently you need to return will vary according to your individual circumstances and the nature of your health goals.

Session description:
You do not need to train with me 3 times a week if that isn’t for you. I will want you to check in with me about other activities you are doing – if you are serious about making changes. We can devise an action plan together what you do at the gym or how many times a week you are playing tennis or going to Pilates.
Nutrition is KEY. I cannot emphasise enough that a fantastic healthy body is 70% about what you eat.
I do like clients to keep food diaries especially initially while we are re-educating and learning how to take our step by step changes to adapt to the new lifestyle. Five years ago I never imagined I would eat dark chocolate instead of milk, not eat breakfast cereals (I used to love!), make green smoothies everyday and be in the gym six days a week!
