I created Pure Balance Yoga for busy individuals who want to restore some balance to their lives and maximise their health, fitness and mental wellbeing.

 

With the frenetic pace with which we live our lives today, it can be a real challenge to manage stress and combat fatigue, (when this happens it is easy to forget the most basic function and breathe properly).

 

Pure Balance Yoga will help you to establish a healthier relationship with your body, strengthening your muscles, working on postural alignment and balancing your energy so you are better able to cope with life’s stresses.

I was lucky to have been given the opportunity to grow up playing sport and enjoying athletics in a healthy environment. At school I seemed to have a natural ability for long distance running, much to the unpopular reaction of my classmates! My event became the 3,000m by the age of 18 and I competed at national level.

 

I’ve always believed that exercise makes you feel more positive mentally, not to mention the benefits for your body. After all we were designed to move!

 

Session description:
Once you have found your personal trainer ie. me! We will have a consultation, a chance to meet and discuss your fitness goals. You will also be able to visit the studio in Moorgate where we can train and ensure that you feel happy and comfortable with the set up.

 

Once I have had a chance to go through your needs analysis and fitness goals I will be able to design a suitable training programme. This will include mobility work, specific exercises and plenty of stretching. We would usually train once or twice a week. The more frequent and consistent you are the quicker you are more likely to reach your goal. The first session may seem a bit slow as we are testing the waters! I would use this session to see where you are fitness wise and decide on what we can build on. One session entitles a client to an hour of training and assisted stretching. Depending on the training package and fitness goal, this may also include nutritional guidance and weight management.

  • REPS certified (Register of Exercise Professionals).
  • Qualifications in Posture Analysis and Corrective Exercise, Post-Natal, Advanced Nutrition for Weight Loss, Circuit and Kettlebell training.
