I have always had an interest in being active from climbing trees as a kid to competitive sports and horse-riding through school and university, even representing the University of Nottingham in women’s football. However, when I graduated and settled into an office job the client-entertaining and sedentary lifestyle took its toll and she piled on the weight.
In 2012 I took on the London Triathlon as a personal challenge and it kickstarted her into getting fit again, losing nearly 2 stone in the process. I have since continued to challenge herself physically and mentally, qualifying as a Level 3 Personal Trainer at the beginning of 2015.
I promote a balance that includes plenty of physical activity, lots of healthy and delicious food and some serious relaxation to create a lifestyle that is sustainable and realistic for everyone. I understand the personal struggles that everyone goes through in relation to their fitness and so every client receives personalised programmes and specialised attention.
The Fitology Way is a holistic approach to health. We’re about more than just a sweaty hour once a week and eating salads because life is bigger than that. We also understand that long-term health is important, it’s not just about looking good on the beach (although that’s important too!).
I offer personal training sessions in Hackney, either 1-2-1 or in small groups of up to 4, nutritional consultations, short and long-term goal setting and event-specific training. Any challenge you’re facing, throw it at us and we can solve it together.
